Manhattan Beach Lodge, which was built in 1929, is located on Big Trout Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes 25 miles north of Brainerd, Minnesota.  The handmade log furniture, great stone fireplace, acclaimed restaurant, and dramatic sunsets all complement our 20 lake view rooms. Manhattan Beach Lodge Staff will assist visitors with sight-seeing and shopping information, tee times, cross country skiing, or hiking and biking trails through our pristine north woods.

As you watch an eagle soaring overhead, catch a trophy walleye, snowmobile into the back country, or just watch the sun set into Big Trout Lake, you recognize that Manhattan Beach Lodge offers a unique getaway with the same unspoiled woods and waters as eighty years ago. As you enjoy dinner in front of the original stone fireplace amid the restored cedar log work, you help write another chapter in the colorful history of Manhattan Beach Lodge.
